Re: US Death Toll Rising In Iraq

So I just looked at Google news and one of the main articles was US Death Toll Rising In Iraq. Doesn't that seem like a pretty obvious statement? If anything, I would say it is more newsworthy if the death toll stopped rising. Imagine how ratings would react to a headline like Sunnis, Shiites, US Forces Decide to Just be Friends or US Troops Acquire Immunity to Death.

That would, of course, be second only to reports that the US Death Toll were actually decreasing. Modern Science Finds Loophole in Conditions of Death or Laws Governing Life and Death Found Unconstitutional: Millions Given Second Chance.

Really though, I guess I can understand their position. It must get boring always having headlines like Bombs Kill _{number}_ US Troops in Iraq which are too regular to even catch my eye anymore, but US Death Toll Rising in Iraq? That seems a little obvious. Tragic, but obvious.
