Bunnies

My brother is staying at home right now with his two daughters while mommy is going out to work. He and his kids share a great sense of humour which sometimes is hard to predict. This was made evident a few days ago when the three of them posted this darling video entitled "rabbit hunting".



Well, strangely enough, a few moments after first seeing that clip (still sitting at my computer), my sister came running in to grab a camera because a bunny in the front yard was letting my little nephew, Oliver, play with it. So, inspired by my bro, we made our own version.



This bunny sat there for an hour before shooting, and then a couple hours after. We believe that the only explanation is that it is an escaped pet. It isn't the type of animal you'd find here in Utah, and it doesn't even know to run away when a baby with a knife is cutting it into bite-sized pieces of bunny meat. So, rather than let it fend for itself on our neighbourhoods' roads, we adopted it.

If anyone has tips on how to keep a bunny as a pet, we'd be really grateful.
