Back from TRAVIS 2007!

Yesterday morning I arrived back in SLC after a voyage that lasted less than 24 hours but seemed like a whole vacation. Everything about the trip went perfectly.

• Without planning the timing, we all arrived at Dallas Fort Worth airport within 20 minutes of each other.
• We found a super close parking spot to the HOB.
• We got to wait for the concert inside because we bought dinner before the show.
• We heard the soundcheck through the floor in the Restaurant.
• We were there early enough to just barely be the first ones in line.
• We got perfect placement at the concert to both give and receive optimal band member eye contact with our two favorite bandmates throughout the entire concert.
• We were not stabbed or run over by automobiles.
• A really cute couple got engaged on stage and had a song played just for them.
  
• Scott got Fran's pick (lead singer) and Douggie's set list (bassist).
• We coincided with the band by accident after the show because we were dropping a friend off by his car (who knew he'd park by the tour bus parking) and got photos, hugs, and an autograph for my sister who's on a mission.
  
• The only friend we had in Dallas lent us his car despite him moving back to Utah mere hours after we caught our retuning flight.
• Our departing flights all left with half an hour of each others'.
  

So, if you are reading this and have any extra money, get over to the House of Blues and have one of the best concert experiences of your life.
