Thumbs down for Margaret Dayton

Every once in a while I am completely speechless after hearing what some politicians think. Sen. Margaret Dayton, R-Orem, said earlier this week, "I'm opposed to the anti-American philosophy that's somehow woven into all the [IB] classes as they promote the U.N. agenda."

I can't even say how many ways there are that I am offended by what she said. Does she know why the word "international" is in "International Baccalaureate"?
"Anti-American"?
"somehow woven"?
"UN Agenda"?
What? Xenophobic? Uninformed? Basically, I'm mad at her.

If anyone wants to hear me really rant, let me know. Otherwise, just know there's a lot more where this all came from.

Unfortunately, lots of politicians in this state say really strange things.

By the way, what's your email so I can send you a blog invite, if you'd like...
